All lectures can be held either in GERMAN or ENGLISH. I have also often done simultaneous translations (e.g. Japanese, Polish).
My lectures are WAKE UP lectures. They are therefore particularly suitable after the lunch break or as keynote at the end of an event. Or, of course, as the opening talk of the day.
Besides a (headset) MICROPHONE and BEAMER , I don't really need anything else. Please read the detailed technical requirements anyway, as there are a few important things to consider.

The classic! Always renewed and expanded: the live hacking show, which has already impressed thousands of people all over the world. Tobias Schroedel gives you an entertaining look into the IT poison cabinet. There are not only a number of “Aha” experiences here, there are also just as many “A-hahaha” moments.
If you thought a few pieces of information don't reveal anything, you are wrong! Unmask a scammer and return lost vacation photos to a stranger. You will be amazed at what you can find out with supposedly "unimportant information" if you only put the pieces of the puzzle together correctly.
How do you actually get into the Darknet? If you've always wanted to take a look into the dark corners of the net, this lecture is the right one. Follow Tobias Schroedel on a foray through the dark side of the internet. How do you get in and what is there actually? A different kind of online shopping - always legal, of course!
More and more devices used in everyday life are online. But what about their safety? Tobias Schroedel demonstrates live, how easy (some!) smart devices can be cracked, if vendors don't care. Do we have to be afraid of lightbulbs?
This lecture shows and explains what big data means for ordinary people. Schroedel demonstrates in a comprehensible way how one can infer the big picture from several inconspicuous pieces of information.
Tobias Schroedel tells and shows in his uncomplicated and understandable way how Facebook and Co. get data that we don't even give them, how the social networks deal with it and what "delete entry" actually means.
Employees can be a weak point, but they don't have to be. Witness how hackers try to gain access to data and systems through employees. This talk turns you into a living firewall. Get to know your opponents' weapons to effectively fend off data theft and CEO fraud
How is a moon landing actually programmed? Who do you call with the first cell phone? Why was the first digital camera hidden? Tobias Schroedel introduces some heroes of the digital world from his book "It's a nerd’s world" and shows one or the other invention live. Suitable from 11 to 99 years.
Security experts found loopholes in the security of pacemakers. What they didn't know ... the assignment wasn't about patient safety at all. Tobias Schroedel tells the story behind the scenes. A cyber crime thriller that increases your pulse, whether with or without a pacemaker. By the way, not only suitable for doctors.
Computer science has already solved some problems. How can the Corona warning app address the right people without knowing who they are? Why doesn't a messenger need access to the phone book and still knows who is listed? How do you measure rain without a measuring device? How does encryption work? A lecture with a lot of "aaah" effect.
Since 2011 Tobias has been explaining the pitfalls of passwords, computers, smartphones and the Internet to sternTV viewers. Some things went wrong during the shooting. And just the funniest incidents could not always be broadcast. In this lecture, these unseen stories finally come to the screen. In addition to an interesting look behind the scenes of a live broadcast, there is a lot of laughter and learning about IT security.
Tobias Schroedel is “Germany's first IT comedian” - this is how the magazine CHIP once wrote. But also as a host, he will guide you through your technician conference in an amusing and competent manner. His tips, tricks and gadgets not only refresh every introduction, his in-depth technical knowledge also allows correctly asked questions and discussions at eye level with the speakers.
Tobias Schrödel is "Germany's first IT comedian" - this is how the magazine CHIP once wrote. And in fact, he explains technical system gaps and interrelationships in a way that is understandable for everyone and does not neglect the fun - regardless of whether as a live hacker, speaker or moderator.
Since 2011, Schroedel shows up on German television, whenever „stern TV" (a magazine format at RTL TV) deals with IT security, computers or smartphones. There, he is regularly explaining complex technical issues in a way that everyone can understand. He writes a weekly column and has published five books. Not only are these successful, two of them are awarded. "Hacking for Managers" was honored with the "getAbstract award" as "Best Business Book of the year 2011" and "It's a Nerd's World" received the EMYS youth non-fiction
book award in August 2019.

I write a short blog almost every week. With 300-400 words, i.e. two or three minutes reading time, I would like to publish absurd, funny, new and exciting things about IT topics every Monday at 9 a.m. Interest? Then it's best to sign up for the reminder email right away and not miss any entry!
Zum BlogStern TV has been a cornerstone of German television for decades and is one of the last real live broadcasts. Since January 2011 I have been able to explain security gaps and the pitfalls of the Internet to viewers in understandable words.
In 2011 I was the IT expert in a great team of Ulrich Meyer’s "Investigation Files" on the hunt for criminals. In each episode, two cases that had already been closed were reproduced in great detail and the investigators' methods were shown.
I occasionally give interviews to various other magazines or news programs when something is currently happening. These were e.g. WiSo, Akte, Explosiv, wdr markt, RTL Punkt 12, SAT.1 Magazin
